  • Easy to Operate: Up-and-over doors are equipped with features like plastic rollers, powerful tension springs, and specially designed lever arm bearings that make them lightweight and easy to open and close, even manually.
  • Secure: These doors security features, include a two-point locking systems.

Disadvantages

  • Space Requirements: Up-and-over doors swing outwards when opening and closing, requiring some clearance space in front of the garage. This could be a disadvantage if parking space is limited.

Conclusion

Overall, up-and-over garage doors provide a good balance of affordability, security, and ease of use. However, it’s important to consider the driveway space constraints.
